Roselle Band Boosters
Join the Roselle Band Boosters! Anyone interested can join the band boosters. The band boosters meet once a month (except in December) and discuss agenda items and formulate a budget so the band can function more efficiently and effectively. Ultimately, the band boosters boost the band!
The following is a list of the band booster committees. Any parent is welcome to join or be a chairperson!
4th Grade Lesson Coordinator - Set-up lessons with interested 4th graders and Lake Park band students. Assistance provided. Begins after winter break.
Equipment Transportation Team - Help with loading and unloading of band equipment into trucks/vans for off-site performances/contests. Specifically, we need someone to drive a rental truck (all day commitment) when the bands perform their holiday tour at local nursing homes and schools.
Hospitality Committee - Assist with set-up, serving and clean-up of refreshments at student concerts. Provide seasonal decorations for concerts when necessary (2x/year).
Pancake Breakfast - EVERYONE helps with this important fundraiser. Watch your mail in early spring for tickets and volunteer information.
Parent Chaperones - Ride the bus to/from band contests, and various performance outings. Please see permission slips for specific dates and times.
Rose Parade Committee - Walk alongside the band as we march in the annual Rose Parade, carry water bottles, ride bus to and from parade. Parent (and car) needed to follow band with additional water (1st Sunday of June).
School Calendar Committee - Help with the assembly, production, and distribution of the District 12 school calendar. Commitment is 6-10 hours during mid-late summer.
Uniform Committee - Assist with uniform fitting day, distribution collection of uniforms on performance/contest dates, cleaning and maintenance needs. Dates and times vary with band performance schedule.
Videographer - Are you good at taking home movies??? If so, this is the job for you. This is a relatively new position, but we are in need of someone to video our yearly performances (or at least some of them).
